1. General Overview
We are seeking a manufacturing partner for a unique interlocking beverage and food can system. The system comprises two components:
Body (tubular part)
Bottom (threaded insert)
These two parts are to be assembled and sealed leak-proof, forming a can that is stackable and interlockable for storage and transportation purposes.
Our product will contain liquids and foods, including:
Soft drinks
Alcoholic beverages
Juices
Ready-to-eat or preserved food products

2. Materials
Primary Material: Aluminum (preferred) or Tinplate
Internal Coating: Food-safe epoxy-based coating, as used in traditional beverage cans
External Finish: Full-color UV/offset printed, suitable for retail beverage/food cans
3. Can Dimensions & Molds
We will manufacture two can sizes, sharing the same diameter:
Large Can (330 ml)
Same diameter as small can
Specific height provided in CAD files
Mold Requirement:
One mold with two cavities:
Large can body
Shared bottom insert
Small Can (100 ml)
Reduced height version of large can
Mold Requirement:
One cavity mold for small can body only
Uses same bottom insert as large can
CAD and STEP files for both configurations have been provided.
4. Production Requirements
Quantities:
Initial Order: 10,000 units
Monthly Production Target: Several 100,000 units
End of Year Target: 1 million units
Assembly Process
Threaded interlocking features must be cold-formed using expandable/contractible dies and punches
Bottom and body are to be fused or welded with leak-proof integrity
Final assembly includes:
Thread forming on body and bottom
Fusion/welding of bottom to body
Epoxy coating (internal)
Filling and seaming
Full-color external printing
5. Manufacturing Capabilities Required
Experience in aluminum/tin can production (preferably for beverages/food)
Rotary internal coating system for epoxy lining
Full-color offset or UV printing line
Thread-forming using precision dies for both top and bottom interlocking mechanisms
Leak-proof fusion/welding technology
Quality control systems ensuring food-safe and pressure-safe sealing
6. Deliverables from Manufacturer
Tooling and mold production based on STEP files
First batch of 10,000 units, validated for leak-proof, thread accuracy, and coating/printing quality
Ongoing monthly supply scaling toward 1 million/year
Compliance with food safety standards (e.g., FDA, EU, or relevant certification)
Transparent pricing for tooling, production, and MOQ scaling
